Objectives :

Upon successful completion of the Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature, it is anticipated that the students will:

  • Communicate effectively in an English-speaking environment, as well as to succeed in college and university courses.
  • Acquire outstanding skills in written and oral expression in English.
  • Gain thorough understanding of English within its historic and cultural context.
  • Possess research tools, critical processes and analytic skills necessary for functioning effectively in today’s English-based information environment.
  • Have an understanding of the role which literature plays in society and culture.
