» Goals and Objectives:
Upon successful completion of the Bachelor's
Degree in Pharmacy, it is anticipated that the
student will:
1. Providing a dynamic and innovative curriculum
in the didactic and experiential components
in order to educate and train Pharmacy graduates
who possess advanced knowledge, required skills,
and professional attitudes to promote pharmaceutical
care and practice. Monitoring the curriculum
and evaluating and revising it continuously
to assure current content and relevance to practice.
Increasing elements of cultural sensitivity
and community belonging in the curriculum.
2. To recruit and attract highly qualified students
who are prepared for a professional program
in terms of academic qualifications, communication
skills, study and learning skills, and motivation
for a pharmacy-related career. Diversity when
selecting incoming students for admission into
the Pharmacy program will be considered.
3. Promoting active learning, life-long learning,
and developing critical-thinking and problem-solving
skills through the use of innovative teaching
strategies.
